It comes nicely wrapped as well in bubble wrap and tissue paper, sealed with a sticker. This Polène Number Seven is hand-made in Spain and has a golden chain. Mine came in grey textured leather and with suede inner lining. The dimension is about 6.3 inches in height, 6.5 inches in width, and can be expandable up to 4 inches in depth. The shoulder drop is about 18 inches and is non-adjustable.
Whether it’s the ability to lengthen the strap like on the Numero Onze, or to swap straps completely, the case here. The Numero Dix comes with two leather straps, a shorter one for shoulder carry and a longer one for crossbody. However, I have relatively short torso and can wear the bag crossbody on the longest setting of the short strap. This design is perfection, even though I cannot really fit my iPhone inside, I use this bag a lot for going out to restaurant etc. It’s chic and minimalist, I love the croco effect on the bag as well. It’s a perfect little bag for an evening out.
I absolutely fell in love with the super cute size, and I immediately did a bunch of research and purchased it with my own money. The design, functionality, quality, and price point make it a great bag. If you are looking for a new handbag at an outstanding price point, I cannot recommend a Polène bag enough. The Numéro Sept will be a chic addition to any wardrobe. The bag is an excellent size, measuring at 23 x 21 x 12 cm. I love that the bag is on the larger side for the price tag too .
They have one physical boutique in Paris, but the majority of their business is conducted through e-commerce sales. They ship worldwide from their workshop in Spain. Inside, the Number 12 bag has nothing but a small leather pouch with a zipper that can be easily removed. The bag is too small to fit a 13-inch Macbook Air comfortably.
It comes in a luxury box and with a bag duster. Also for the largest size, the bag’s ring up under $500 shipping and tax included. However; like all designer bags the cost of the bags increase every year, which only adds to the bags value.
When you have all the snaps done up, the opening of the bag shrinks considerably and there’s less access to your stuff . Does it sit well on it’s own without slouching? I would be curious to see how this compares to a Senreve bag that I see pop up on IG. There’s no denying there’s a status or cachet that comes with certain silhouettes, too, and that’s something that’s mattered to me.
The box is incredibly sturdy and well made, and is better than some of the luxury designer boxes I have. The dust bag is also very nice quality and is superior to some of the luxury dust bags I own. It was very nicely packaged in bubble wrap, and then wrapped nicely in branded tissue paper. First impressions and presentation are A+, especially considering the price point. I’ve seen Polene bags floating around the internet for a few years, but it wasn’t until recently that I started becoming interested.
There was something about the beautiful and unique shape, the elevated hardware, and the fact that so few people seemed to really have the bag that made it crazy appealing. We all know I love my Neverfulls – but wow is it awesome to find a more luxury brand that hasn’t yet reached full mass appeal . The grained leather on my new bag came with a knick which they claimed was a feature of natural leather.
The combination of mixed leathers works really well and the bag is quite beautiful. This “trio” design is also available in several other colors. There is also a crocodile “trio” version where the foldover flap is made of croc-effect calf leather. I recently received the best-selling Polène Numéro Un bag and couldn’t wait to test the bag out!
